Jon A. Pfeiffer is a battle tested trial lawyer with over twenty-one years of experience. He has successfully tried more than sixty-five cases before juries, arbitrators and judges. Mr. Pfeiffer is presently the Managing Partner of the Firm.
Prior to forming the boutique entertainment law firm of Pfeiffer & Thigpen in 2001, he was a partner with the international law firm of Bryan Cave LLP in its Santa Monica, California office for six years. Mr. Pfeiffer received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska in 1980, graduating with distinction, and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver in 1983. He is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court as well as all the courts of the states of Colorado, Nebraska and California.
Mr. Pfeiffer has served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Los Angeles County Municipal Court. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the Los Angeles County Bar Association and as a delegate to the State Bar Conference of Delegates. In addition, Mr. Pfeiffer has served as the President of the Santa Monica Bar Association as well as the chairperson of the Santa Monica Bar Association's Entertainment Law Section.
